Course Overview:

Do you have a story to tell? Do you want to explore your own personal narrative? Perhaps you want to narrate your own life experiences, record family history or explore self awareness through writing.

How to Enrol:

You can enrol directly online or in person at one of our centres at PK or CL

If you wish to pay in instalments you will need to enrol in person bringing appropriate evidence (refer to a special page on website for conc. Information and installments)

Entry Requirements:

reasonable level of English language (GCSE or equivalent) is required.

Course Content:

These sessions will help you to explore your personal narrative, landmark events in your life and your story. You will be introduced to prompts and techniques that will help you to write creatively from your own experiences. You will look at poetry, autobiography and autobiographical fiction and explore journaling. You will be encouraged to write and share within the sessions in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Assessment Methods:

There is no formal assessment but you will have the opportunity to share your work for feedback from the tutor and other class members

Each lesson will focus on a different aspect of creative writing. If you have to miss a class, please let the tutor know in advance and she will keep any handouts for you.
