Getting involved with the Gallery Community is simple we are keen to help promote the creative works from artists in the local area.
The first step is simple just attend one of the many art or digital design courses at the college. Once you have been trained in your chosen field of study we will give you the opportunity to apply to sell the work in the Gallery shop or just to showcase the work you have produced.
Through the community we also offer an outlet for the work produced by the micro-business’s which are managed by the supported employment opportunity for adults with learning disabilities scheme. The scheme trains the participants in basic workplace skills through attendance of work sessions and the production goods. The shop operates a profit share scheme on the sale of their products.
Here at the Parkshot Gallery we are keen to support local artists and offer the opportunity for non-students to sell their works in the shop and become involved our community.
If you are interested in selling your work in the Parkshot Gallery please forward us an email outlining details about yourself and your work.
We always arrange a viewing of your work prior to accepting it for sale in the gallery. If we feel that your work is suitable for The Parkshot Gallery shop we will set up a sales agreement with you. The college charges a sales commission of 20% for students or staff and 40% for external artists.
