16-19 Programme 2011-12
Courses which lead to a qualification are FREE for all learners who were born between 31/8/1992 and 31/8/1995.

RACC offer a wide range of Level 1, 2 and 3 programmes targeted at 16-19 year olds. These include a variety of vocational courses in areas such as Performing Arts, Music Technology, Art and Design, Health and Social Care, IT and Computing, Home Maintenance, Business and Media and Office Skills and Employability.
We offer GCSEs, GCSE retakes, BTECs and NOCN courses and these have various start dates in the year (September, January, April) although we recommend that learners wishing to take or retake GCSEs start in September if possible. However, we also offer intensive January start GCSEs but mainly at lower tier.
We are a friendly college which puts the learner at the heart of all we do and the College celebrates the multi-cultural background of its staff and learners.
We aim to interview all younger learners prior to enrolment on qualification courses to make sure that the courses chosen are the ones which will help learners achieve their full potential.
We want to make sure you feel supported while you are studying at college and offer pastoral care to all younger learners as appropriate. We can also offer guidance to sources of financial help for some learners. We will help students who are eligible for the bursary to receive appropriate financial help.
The 2010 Ofsted Inspection confirmed the reputation of the College as one of the very best in the country with an ‘outstanding’ report, recognising our exceptional commitment to our students and their future.
Our two sites are both easy to reach by public transport/bicycles.
