Develop your understanding of philosophy, literature and art history; learn novel writing, scriptwriting or children’s writing. Explore history, ancient and modern as well as comparative religion and mythology. Join one of our excellent courses at the Richmond School of Ideas.
The School of Ideas offers programmes of learning from art history to play writing and regularly puts on public events in the arts and humanities, in partnership with local and regional groups.
Whether your passion is modern history or mythology, postmodernism or Monet, Shakespeare or Nietzsche, the RACC School of Ideas has something for you. All our courses are suitable for both beginners or aficionados, leisure learners or literati. Set your own learning goals and we will support you.
Our tutors are esteemed professionals, published writers and exhibited artists, who bring their own experience to the learning process, giving practical advice and guidance. Many of our ex-learners have further developed their careers, or have had work published since attending our courses.
In addition throughout the year we will be offering courses in philosophy and creative writing at our partner college, Hillcroft, in Surbiton.
